I met with treasure yesterday

Today it shone like gold

Treasure’s always by my side

It’s sometimes new and sometimes old.

I can tell my treasure anything

Tried and tested by the best

Trusting and always loyal

Sometimes when I need a rest.

I love my treasure dearly

Totally dependable and true

Taking time and always there for me

My treasure in life is you.

I want to introduce you now

Tell the World the good you do

Treating me like number one

My treasure is a friend like you.

As an Independent Interfaith Celebrant, I offer services for mixed faiths and none, allowing elements of religion in a ceremony if that is what the couple choose to have.

Some couples like to have a personlised ceremony with perhaps a religious reading, prayer or hymn. Some opt to have no mention of religion and would prefer not to join any Humanist Belief system in order to do that.

Many couples have different faith backgrounds and beliefs. Some would prefer to respect their individual spirituality, their own beliefs and values in life.

As an Independent Celebrant, I respect all and offer a highly personalised service for all. No requirement to opt for one particular church or humanist belief system.  The choice is yours, to have the type of service you want with content which is meaningful and special to you both.

Church Weddings or Humanist Weddings

I liked a little gamble

A bet I loved to place

A rush of the adrenalin

I loved to watch the race

I studied all the form

Running heavy on the course

Sometimes picking colours

An eye on my favourite horse

For me it wasn’t gambling

It was a treasured way of life

It took my mind so far away

From trouble and from strife

So now it’s time for resting

I’ve passed the winners line

Think of me, a winning ticket

And how I loved this life of mine.

There once was a guy, in Twechar called Cam

A gardener he was, a straightforward good man

He lived out his life, just as he saw fit

Determined to be independent, with a good deal of wit

A good-hearted man, he loved the outdoors

Working hard every day, never hiding from chores

A whisky, a song, a dog, one or two

His life was quite simple, he bothered very few

So the time has now come, to bid Cam farewell

His family gathers, the community as well

Admiration in words, praise there may be

For a man who lived life, like an evergreen tree.
